CANNON FILMS PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT AT AMERICAN EAGLE OUTFITTERS
TO SUPPORT BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS
Nick Encourages Involvement in this year’s Bowl for Kids’
Sake Campaign
December 3, 2008 -- American Eagle Outfitters and Big Brothers Big Sisters
have teamed up to film a public service announcement featuring producer,
actor and comedian Nick Cannon to encourage participation in this year’s
Bowl for Kids’ Sake campaign.
Cannon filmed the Bowl for Kids’ Sake public service announcement
last week at the American Eagle store in Hollywood. Nick was joined by
several L.A. ‘Littles” who got a behind-the-scenes view of
the shoot, as well as an AE shopping experience with Nick himself.
The public service announcement was designed to build awareness and provide
customers with ways to get involved in the Bowl for Kids’ Sake campaign.
The campaign is the largest fundraiser for Big Brothers Big Sisters, which
focuses on helping children to reach their potential through professional
supported one-to-one relationships. Customers can view the Bowl for Kids’
Sake PSA this spring in AE stores across the United States and Canada.
American Eagle Outfitters has supported Big Brothers Big Sisters since
2006. Over the years, American Eagle has maintained a strong involvement
in Bowl for Kids’ Sake, sponsoring hundreds of associate teams across
the United States and Canada. American Eagle also supports the organization
through various funding and corporate volunteerism programs.

About Big Brothers Big Sisters
Big Brothers Big Sisters helps vulnerable children beat negative odds.
We rely on donations to help recruit volunteers and reach more children.
Funding is used to conduct background checks on volunteers to ensure child
safety; and provide ongoing support for children, families and volunteers
to build and sustain long-lasting relationships. Our service is proven
to reduce children’s risk of skipping school, behaving violently,
using drugs and alcohol, and falling victim to other negative cycles.
Big Brothers Big Sisters and our network of supporters recognize the hardship,
pain and challenges children in too many communities confront. Our movement
is relevant and there is an urgent demand for what we achieve. Headquartered
in Philadelphia and with nearly 400 agencies across the country, Big Brothers
